Fix A Feral For $15 – May 16th

We have a date – Wednesday, May 16th – and registrations are now open for our monthly Fix A Feral For $15 Spay Shuttle! (We moved our shuttle date up one week earlier this month, because we are sponsoring a “pets-only” clinic on May 23rd.) Our focus for this shuttle remains on ferals (cats will receive an ear tip) from Hunterdon County communities. We will create a wait list for adoptables (no ear tip).

Each trapper is allowed up to five reservations; please do not share reservation spots and please only request reservations for cats that you are confident you can trap. We reserve the right to apportion out any additional spots based on availability and need in order to ensure that the shuttle is full.

    • Why, thank you Lorraine! We focus on prevention and our volunteers work diligently to help make it happen. Thank you for your generous donation; please know that it will go directly to spay/neuter surgeries. We appreciate your help!

  1. Young cats were abandoned at 48 Old Hwy28 Whitehouse Station, NJ. People that were living there did not spay and not sure how many are there now. They left and the cats are left to fend for themselves. It is sad to see them sitting on the front porch waiting to get fed. I went home to get food and water, when I walked up to the porch I saw the sign on the door the landlord posted which said do not feed but you can adopt them. Is there anyway they can be caught and spayed?
There should be accountability on this matter.

    • Hi Lisa – Thanks for posting this information. I’m going to share this with a couple of cat / TNVR folks who collaborate with us. If they are willing to step up to trap and foster (assuming the cats are friendly) our organization will work with them to help get the cats spayed and neutered.
