2014 ♀Spay ♂Neuter Grants – Part IV

We are constantly on the lookout for unique programs that target specific areas of extreme pet overpopulation. In July of 2014, harnesslife.org awarded a special grant to Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. for their PitStop Program. Male pitbull-type breeds in the Paterson, NJ area are transported from a central location to be sterilized with Zeuterin™, then returned to their owners later that same day. As a way to say “Thank You” we gave each of the winners of our Howl’ween Pictures and Photos With Santa contests a chance to choose which rescue group or shelter would receive a $100 Spay/Neuter Grant. Some of the recipients are shown below.

Sometimes harnesslife.org will “pledge” a $100 spay/neuter grant for a specific pup to encourage rescue groups who might be considering pulling a pup from a kill shelter.
