Today I’m choosing to tell you about our superb experience this past Saturday at Kingwood Township Community Day, which also happened to be Puppy Mill Awareness Day. It was our first time participating in this town’s event and we had a lot of fun! In addition, we were blessed with magnificent early Fall weather, which made it even better.
- First, thank you to the organizers for allowing us to have a booth along “non-profit row”. Our great spot positioned us with lots of walk-by traffic and we were able to enjoy the entertainment coming from the bandstand, dunk tank.and fireworks.
- Second, we are so grateful that Whitehead Woodworks generously shared a portion of their profits to help boost our ♀Spay ♂Neuter Fund! Hunter is a talented custom woodworker and I strongly suggest you check out his amazing creations on his website and facebook page. Also, a huge thank you to Donna, his Mom, who is one of our staunch volunteers. Some of her “canine craftwork” is still available for sale. Check out the photos in this post and email me it you’re interested in any of her leash hangers. I’ll gladly put you in touch with her.
- Third, we thoroughly enjoyed speaking with the community of folks who attended this event. Thank you so much for your generosity, too! Our ♀Spay ♂Neuter Fund continues to help rescued NJ cats and dogs. Together we can Prevent Roverpopulation!
