Time For A Checkup, Alvin!

Hey, I remember that building . . . it’s the place where I stayed when I was really, really sick. But then I felt a LOT better.

It’s been 3½ weeks since I picked up Alvin from the Animal Clinic Of Morris Plains. The amazing professionals there saved Alvin’s life with special treatments after he was diagnosed with Parvo. We know that Alvin’s made a lot of progress under our watch, but I was very curious to hear what Doctor Robinson had to say.

I was tickled to discover that so many folks there knew Alvin – but barely recognized him! While we sat in the waiting area, several people did ‘double takes’ and asked, “Is that Alvin? He looks great!”

Here’s a synopsis of Alvin’s checkup:
• Current weight: 39.6 lbs.
• Muscle mass and tone: increasing and looking good
• Heart murmur: no longer detected!
What I though was a “hot spot” in the middle of Alvin’s back is actually an abscess. Alvin is now on antibiotics (both tablets and topical ointment). Poor little guy . . . at least it doesn’t seem to be bothering him.

You're not going to leave me here again, are you?
